"Your art being located in our entry hall makes it quite noticeable to people coming into our home. Friends and family are interested in our descriptions of the physical things reflected in your art, as well as the experiences, thoughts, and feelings that explain why and how certain things are depicted.
Each time we talk to you we learn more about the journey you have gone through and the historical and cultural background which is related in your art. The more we learn the more we enjoy your art.
Your art is at the center of our home so we see it every time we walk from the kitchen or living room to another part of the house. We find it very uplifting. Even though the art was not all created from joy and happiness, we see the "Joy of Spring" and the "Joy of Living" and we know that you have achieved joy in your life and you are able to express it very well in your art and thus share it with others."Laura & Tim, California
"Gracefulness and power are hard to master, you have plenty of both, the key is that you are willing to take the great risks. Making beauty requires a ballet between humility and arrogance"M. Smith, California
"Our gorgeous painting by Lucy Liew, Hornbill Passage, is a prominent focal point in our home. The painting, which measures approximately 9' L x 5' H, hangs in a large, open stairwell which receives abundant natural light. What was once a large blank wall that was begging for "that special something" has now become a festive feast for the eyes! Whenever we walk past, we can't help but smile at the exuberant interplay of colors and designs in the artwork! Not only is Lucy an accomplished artist, but she was wonderful to work with. Lucy made it a point to prepare the painting for hanging, participated in the installation and worked very well with our contractor. We highly recommend her, both on a personal and a professional basis!"

"Very spiritual! Your paintings draw me to connect with the beauty of Creation."H. Matosich, California
"The prints we bought from you each have their own special place in our home. The colors in Generations receive many favorable comments as it highlights a corner near our front door. As Generations' flowers portray growth, life cycles and the "family spirit", the spirit our home is enhanced with many growing things, each with its unique cycle of life."
"Many comments on the little girl in Continuum, which occupies one side of the entrance to our dining area, and we always proudly announce that we know and love her, the artist of the painting. Many also ask about the keys and we say she is holding the key to her future in the Bay Area."

"Joy of Family & Joy of Family Revisited" is proudly displayed in our large kitchen which is the center and heart of our home. It brings sunshine and happiness into our hearts every time we enter the room."Mary & Dave, California
"Love the symbolism and vivid colors. It is like a revitalization of traditional values!"J. Lin, California
"I have really enjoyed spending time with your painting on a daily basis. I find the rich colors and themes of the Hornbill #50 particularly uplifting!"
