Announcing Lucy’s Summer Art Camp 2011

This summer, Lucy Liew is offering a special art program for children & Teens of all ages. Children will explore a wide variety of media, styles and imagery from an accomplished professional artist.  Summer art camp is designed to be fun and educational while building confidence and creativity.  Working together in a group setting with a range of age groups also helps participants improve social and intellectual skills.  Unleashing each student’s creative potential will enrich their lives for many years to come. Each class is limited to six children only.

Course Curriculum (Mon to Fri)

9:00 to 12:30pm
Mon: Drawing- Portrait, still-life, landscape & animals will be taught using pencil/ pen and ink/ charcoal.
Tue: Drawing & Painting- Color, value and painting style will be taught using oil or soft pastel, watercolor and Acrylic.
Wed: Drawing & Painting- Color, value and painting style will be taught using oil or soft pastel, watercolor and Acrylic.
Thu:3-D concepts - Changing shape into form
Fri: Printmaking using waterbase ink

1:00 to 3:00pm
Mon: Drawing & Painting- Color, value and painting style will be taught using oil or soft pastel, watercolor and Acrylic.
Tue: Drawing & Painting- Color, value and painting style will be taught using oil or soft pastel, watercolor and Acrylic.
Wed: Collage- Line, color and pattern
Thu: Collage-  Line, color and pattern
Fri: Printmaking  using waterbase ink

1:30 to 3:30pm (Mon & Tue only)
Studio Art- Learn to paint with Acrylic

Teen-11 & Adult (Mon & Tues only)
1:30pm to 4:30pm (Studio Art- Acrylic Painting)
