Commission A Painting
Buying art is an extremely personal experience. If you like my work but are looking for a different size, mood or color than what is currently available, I would love to discuss creating a bespoke piece that brings your vision to life! Your finished piece will be a one-of-a-kind original work you can enjoy for years to come.

Commission Process for "Rise Up 2"

Step 1 // Determine the size, theme and pricing.
I will work closely with you to determine the initial specifications for your painting, according to your vision and the needs of your particular space.
Step 2 //
Pay deposit to hold your spot.
Once we have discussed your piece and you are ready to place your order, you can pay a down payment of 50% to secure your slot in my client waiting list. As soon as I receive your payment I will begin work on your piece. The remaining 50% balance of will be due at the time of pick up.
Step 3 // Watch your painting come to life.
My commissions undergo a multi-step process to ensure that your painting aligns with your vision. At various stages I will update you on the progress of your piece, which will give you the opportunity to see how your painting is coming together and make comments for adjustment. Please let me know if you would prefer me not to post on social media, in case it spoils a surprise gift. I would only make a general reference, such as "a coastal commission for a home in Bodega Bay."
Step 4 // Give final approval.
Once I have completed the commission, I will email a photo of the painting for your approval. At this stage, I will be able to make any minor adjustments at your request. After final approval has been given, we can arrange for pick up.
Step 5 //
Remaining balance and delivery.
Upon full satisfaction of the completed artwork, you will be invoiced for the remaining balance and we can arrange for pick up or delivery. I will provide you with a tracking number once the painting has been scheduled for delivery.
Step 6 // Share your experience.
After you have received your commission, please consider writing a testimonial! One of the best parts of my job is receiving customer feedback and seeing pictures of the artwork in their homes. Sharing your experience supports my work and is helpful for others who might be considering commissioning a painting of their own.
For an additional fee, you can also purchase a Giclée art print of your commissioned piece. This is perfect if you want to gift a print of your commission to family members or have a copy for your second home.
