Enlightenment II - Original

This composition features a large Lotus bloom set against a backdrop of intertwined tendrils and floating above the verdant California foothills.
 
One aspect of enlightenment is reaching a place of acceptance that some things just “ARE”.  If we struggle with the question of: “Why is the flower floating above the hills?” we miss being able to simply enjoy its beauty.
