As its title would suggest, this composition is designed to reflect a state of inner stillness and quiet. A wandering glider dragonfly approaches lotus blossoms, searching for a place to rest after his weary travels. In today's interconnected world...it is often challenging to "unplug" and experience this type of stillness. The background is a mix of soft pastel colors applied with a palette knife to suggest water...sky...or perhaps fog.
