Springing Forth II - Original

Springing Forth features California Golden Poppies (Eschscholtzia californica) bursting from a dark background. Many California native plants are fire adapted to use signals, such as smoke, heat or chemical changes in the soil to trigger germination. This causes them to "spring forth" to speed recovery after a wildfire. Anyone who has recovered from a disaster, injury, or the loss of a loved one can attest that it is an active process that ultimately leaves them stronger and more resilient.
