    • Living on the Edge I

    To celebrate Earth Day, I decided to make a painting with California poppies dancing at the edge of a bluff overlooking Shell Beach along the Sonoma coast. While "Living on the Edge" literally describes their habitat giving way to the ocean, it also describes the tenacity of these poppies to thrive in the midst of buffeting winds and constant salt spray. This image is a reminder to live each day to the fullest; not just to survive, but to thrive!
