Giclée canvas print depicting California wildflowers in white in front of Sonoma County's rolling hills
  • Ephemeral

This painting evokes the ever changing landscape of Annadel State Park. White outlines were chosen to represent the temporal nature of wildflowers, while the colored landscape conveys a sense of permanence.  Following the 2017 wildfires in Sonoma County, the white outlines took on new meaning as many plants and shrubs were reduced to ash, making way for fire advantage wildflowers to appear the following spring.
